Flower and Blings

What do i like most about Scrapbooking it has to be Flower and Bling! So when asked to create using this theme I was definitely excited and happy to be reaching out for the flowers.

Decided that there have been just too many photos of trips that have been kept away and have been procrastinating to scrap. I want to remember the trips that we have shared but as usual too many things seems to be coming up before i could start scraping.

Anyway this time have decided to do a layout of our trip to Italy in December last year. How time flies its already August and then before we know it its Christmas!

Using mainly supplies from Websters page and Prima flowers.

Also using Melissa Frances Glitter glass to line the photos.

Have A Creative Week ahead!

Misting

This months DT assignment is to use Mist and i love using Mist to create a background. The good thing is that you can decide on whatever color theme you desire.

At first when i first started using Mist i wasnt sure i like it as it did not really turn out the way i wanted it but with constant practising it gets better each time.

For this layout i have choose to use Trunk bay and Cadillac Pink from Glimmer Mist.

This combination gives a dreamy look which I wanted to achieve.

Using 2 mask from Prima , and the images are stamped using Glitz design Beautiful dreamer clear stamps.

Hope this inspires you to take out those Mist that have been hiding away in the corner and Happy Misting!

Prima Mask

Hello All This month our DT assignments is to use Prima Mask and I had choose the Poppies design. which i feel has alot of possibilities to explore but for today will use it as to create a background for my layout.

There is just so much that can be done from masking, inking and mixed media art with this stencil.

This time I have decided to do masking with Distress ink from Tim holtz to form a background for my layout.

For this layout I chose to use the Kaiser Craft Bonjour collect, love the soft pastel tones  and sticker butterflies as well as Prima flowers and embellishments.

So get creative and start using your Mask!

Have a creative weekend ahead.

Tuesday Inspiration - Prima

Hello its Tuesday again! Today i will be sharing a layout using Prima Pixie Glen collection. The title of my page is "All in one breath" and why i shall explain in a while.

Tuesday Inspiration - Mother's Day

Hello its Tuesday again! This Sunday it is Mother's Day and i cant think of a better way to celebrate this day with a layout dedicated to her. She is a big fan of flowers and this photo is taken in our recent trip to Hong Kong, still remembered how excited she was when she saw this cart filled with flowers and immediately wanted to take a picture of it.

For this layout i used Prima Romantique collection, the colors are soft and the romantic roses are simply beautiful. Fuzzy cut the pattern paper to put together this layout.

The Prima stamps are also a great way to make your own embellishments, the bird cage and label were stamped and then distressed.

Start making a layout especially for your mother this week and i will assure you nothing is more precious then a handmade gift from you that will last for a very long time.

Have a Creative week ahead and Happy Mother's Day to all of you out there!

Tuesday Inspiration - Lucky 8 Punches

Today i am so excited to share with you this new tool that i have been crossing my fingers that it would be bought to Papermarket the minute my eyes set sight on it. Seen and heard so much about it and i think it is simply the most awesome tool to have. Lol i have not mention what is it yet ok its the Lucky 8 punches from WRMK.

Not only does it comes in the above designed it comes in 5 MORE different design, can you imagin every puncher gives 3 different punch image so that would be like 18 different punch design, how i wish i own all 6 of them.

Look at all the pretty designs! So how does it works many of you would ask.

First of all aline and punch all 4 sides of the paper with the punches, then turn the paper around and do the same on all 4 sides. Look how detailed and pretty it is!

and the final product is

The best thing is that not only the final product is pretty, the left overs can also be useful as well.

Recently Papercrafts Magazine has this great book on Practical Solutions for Paper Crafters and Moxie Fab have been showing a few great ideas on how to DIY Embellishments, Paper Scraps and using Snippets from Household items. You can check it out Here.

This week they are having a Practical Solutions for Papercrafters week-long Celebration so here i am reading all the post and thinking about the blogpost and so i thought hey the tiny flowers can be used to make a card, and with the recent trend of Confettis this would make a great centerpiece.

The next thing that I will show you is a great tip to make the most outta your patten paper, see my layout that i've created this week you can actually use the punch out from the corners. Look carefully below the photo. So next time before throwing away the left overs think about how to reuse them ;)

The picture above is my niece after eating an egg tart and i love the expression she has on her face. All smiley and happy after a satisfying dessert.

Fussy cut and layered the flowers from the K and Company Watercolor Bouquet collection. Can you spot the Melissa Frances embellishment? Cant wait for her to arrive in April to meet her!

So hurry down to Papermarket to grab those Lucky 8 punches before they are sold out!

This layout is submitted for Dont Throw it Away Challenge in the Moxie Fab World ;) so play along.

Have a Creative week ahead!

Sometimes we can use Digital frames to help us to make the page more interesting.

Combining it with embellishments it will make the perfect layout. This is how it looks like inside.

Below are the handmade corsage for the sisters, using purple and pink roses although i guess

the picture was not taken with good lighting.
