Message

Hello and how have your Christmas been?

I manage to create a layout using the beautiful Butterfly Garden, this time i wanted to have a hidden journal done. Simply cant resist using the metal charm that i adore so dearly.

Realise that i have not journal that much in a while and it is about time to remind myself of how blessed we are to have one another.

This is the season to keep taking photos and start creating!

Wishing all of you in advance a HappY nEw Year!

Daily Inspiration ~ 11.11.11

11 November 2011 yes 11.11.11 such a special day for my good friend Regine whom had her ROM on this day and had decided to make her a board to welcome all her guest attending the Solemnization. Have chose to use the beautiful collections from Glitz design - Beautiful dreamer and vintage blue.

The "Peek-A-boos" frames are just perfect for adding the elegant touch to the layerings.

Here is a photo of the happy couple framed in the  another "Peek-a-Boos". Am so going to get more of these frames!

Flowers and crystal swirls are simply the best together.

Another of my new favourites are the Pink Paislee Expressions Wood Shop letterings! They are simply so easy to incoporate, just paint them or mist them to match your Layouts or anything. I painted it in white then distressed it alittle with Distress ink.

Wishing Regine and Jaz happiness today, tomorrow and forever.

Back to Beautiful Paris....

There is nothing more i like about Europe then to visit Paris, exploring different parts from the country sides to the city of Paris. This is the third time i have visited Paris and each time i longed for more of it, its not difficult to see why Paris is so romantic.

There is nothing more iconic then the Eiffel Tower, and this time round we decided not to go the top but to the sides surrounding this fabulous structure at Palais de Chaillot.

Using MME sketch below and Lost and Found 2 collection here is my layout Back to Beautiful Paris.

MME_LayoutSketch_2011_09

Simply loving the embellishment 3D sticker.

This stamp has to be my favourite this year, adoring the ballerina to bits! What i have done is to stamp the image and then split it for my journalling.

I have rotated sketch abit to suit the picture.

Thanks for stopping by!

Have wanted to share this layout done for Papermarket / Laines blog on "Daily Inspiration" since last week but oOps..

This picture was taken in Taiwan last year and i really liked it so have delicated this layout just for DD. Took out all my stash that i had of American Crafts and i especially liked the laser cut pink butterfly, have also included some older collection together with new collections.

The colorful sticker fronts that i have found  in Papermarket recently was just amazing, amazing for the fact that it consist of 8 pages of stickers in different colors for me to mix and match for the title that i have created "U R" Special.

Daily Inspiration - Bloomers

I often saw bloomers being used on layouts and cards but recently saw it being used in on a candy box (oops i kinda of forgot where i saw it.) which inspired me to come out with this basket filled with candy for a friend.

I have choose to use American Crafts Dear Lizzy Enchanted collection for the above project.
This can be easily created using any baskets you already have at home top it up with bloomers and a tag. A Simple Small and handy gift for your friends!

A closer look at the pretty bloomers

Look at the pretty bloomers from Webster's Pages and think about all the possibilities! Hopefully you've manage to grab some of these bloomers from last months new arrivals and if not hope down to Laines / Papermarket now!

Crate Color Challenge

Hey today i'm playing along with Crate's Paper Color Challenge, and the colors are Sand - Khaki - and Denim Blue.

This photo of my niece is taken at Vivo City when she was on one of the rides and it was so difficult to make her smile as she wanted to play on the ride more then smiling at the camera.

I have to admit Sand, Khaki and Denim are not one the easiest colors to use in my context...
But it did not turn out as bad as i thought haha.

I am still pretty much into dollies just love how it can be layered to add some dimensions to the layout but still keeping it simple for the photo to stand out.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday Singapore!

This whole week Laines / Papermarket is Celebrating National Day! Each of us were suppose to come up with 5 Stars and our wishes for Singapore.

What better way then to make a Banner! Had wanted to do one but being ME its always something newer that i want to try to do lol.

Each star has a boarder which i have used a decorative scissors to create.

Can you see a banner within a banner! The Garland were made using Tim Holtz dies and for the paper used i created it using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist mixing Firefly and Mel's Diner.

Do check out Laines / Papermarket for everyday this week to see what the rest of the wonderful team have created.

I hope i have inspired you today to make a Banner for National Day!
